I made reservations on 1/17/09 and was greeted by long lines when I arrived at 7:15 for my 7:30 reservation. In talking to several I found that everyone in line had reservations and they were turning away anyone without one. The elder Ms Fazio was not there as normal but her daughter was. I have had pleasant meals here MANY times in the past and greeted Ms Fazio when she passed by. As a gesture of kindness I gently touched her shoulder. She responded with a less than pleasant attitude telling me "not to touch her!" I was shocked by this as we had enjoyed many pleasant words in past years. My wife looked at me with an astonished look. We were finally seated at 8:35 and as we walked through the restaurant viewed at least 10 empty tables. Our waiter was next to disappoint us. After being in our seats for a period of 20-25 minutes he recognized we were there and took our drink order with a promise to return in just a few minutes to take our dinner order. We waited another 20 minutes. The service remained extremely slow throughout our stay. When dinner was served our portions were noticeably smaller and I had noticed their prices had gone up since my last visit. The nightmare ended around 10:30. Wake up people, this is a service industry.... without service you are just another mundane greasy spoon. I will not be back for an encore.

Fazio's has the best Italian food in town.

Wonderful Italian cuisine. Great staff and service. Great place for any occasion, family and children friendly.
